Dickinson XX3DM2 Defense Silver Marinecote 12 Gauge 20" 3" 5+1

The Gun Dock was great, but the Dickinson XX3DM2 is nowhere near as good as other budget options. The fit and finish are horrible. The finish has multiple scratches, and the trigger assembly was covered in so many plastic shavings that I am concerned about them getting into the trigger mechanism and causing the hammer to unexpectedly release. The front sight was also damaged and the fiber-optic itself was cracked and uneven. The gun looks cool and comes with a nice case, but the build quality pales in comparison to any of the Mossberg Maverick or Stevens 320 models in the same price range.

Dickinson agreed to send me a new front sight assembly, but stated that the poor quality of the trigger assembly is normal. I was amazed that the company would openly admit to poor construction and make no attempt to correct the issue. Unless you are absolutely in love with the tactical features, you would be better off going with almost any other shotguns. I like The Gun Dock, but I would avoid this shotgun at all costs.
