An outline of the United States of America and the unwavering declaration "AMERICA IS COAL COUNTRY" is laser etched and hand painted onto the American walnut stock. The left side salutes the heritage of the underground miner with a drawing of the iconic pick in action etched and plated in 24K gold. The front left panel shows the working hands of a miner holding the results of his labor.
