STORE POLICIES

It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.

  • For all FFL REQUIRED Items:

    • It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for transfer at their FFL dealer.  It is also the buyer or receiving dealer's responsibility to send us a copy of the valid FFL license.  This MUST be an unaltered and signed copy.  FFLs can be faxed (866-721-8691) or emailed (FFL@THEGUNDOCK.COM) to us. Please be sure to include your order number or customer name with the FFL.  Failure to do this may delay the processing of your order.

    • If the dealer you've chosen requires us to contact them first, then please let us know and we will accommodate those dealers.  We want this process to be as easy for you as possible.

    Payment Policies:

    • We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We can also accept VISA gift cards.

    • Due to PayPal's policies against firearms and accessories (and the firearm industry as a whole), we DO NOT accept PayPal under ANY circumstances.

    Warranty & Returns:

    • It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect all items upon arrival within 3 calendar days of receiving the item(s).  This 3-day period begins from the date of delivery on the carrier tracking page.  After insepction perid, (3 days) all sales are final.  

    • Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Shipping is NON-REFUNDABLE; however, if the mistake is ours, we will cover the cost of shipping.  Please do not ship items back to us without a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).  We do not issue reimbursements for shipping labels.  If we are paying for shipping, we will issue the label to you.

    • All items are covered by the manufacturer's warranty only.  You must consult with the manufacturer if you experience a missing, damaged or non-functional product or part that is not caused by carrier (UPS/USPS) neglect.  We will assist you in contacting the manufacturer if necessary, but it is the buyers responsibility to work with the manufacturer. If we must be brought into a warranty or return situation, the manufacturer will notify us.  We are here to help you, we will not leave you hanging on any issues.

    • If you have purchased a firearm, please be aware that ALL firearms that are accepted at your transferring dealer are "FINAL" and cannot be returned.  Please inspect your new firearm(s) at the dealer BEFORE ACCEPTING TRANSFER.  If you have accepted transfer and noticed an issue later, you must resolve it with the manufacturer.  Firearms manufacturers are the best companies in the world to work with.  Their warranties are the best and they will take care of you.  It is not our intention to "stick" you with a faulty firearm, but please understand we cannot return guns that have been fired or may have been modified or misused

We are a small family-owned operation and most of our time is spent processing and shipping orders.  We do our best to answer calls and return messages, but e-mail is the best way to contact us.

    • In the event you must contact us, you can do so at 502-272-4859.  We are in the office from 9AM to 4:30PM ET M-F. We are only available by email on the weekends and after hours.

    • If you see an error in our listings, or feel the item is being misrepresented with incorrect text or photos, please email us to clarify before bidding.  In extreme circumstances we may not be able to fill the order due to item availability.
