PAYMENT POLICIES
Residents of Kentucky must add 6% sales tax. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We can also accept VISA gift cards. Due to PayPal’s policies against firearms and accessories (and the firearm industry as a whole), we DO NOT accept PayPal under ANY circumstance. Returned payments of ANY type will incur an additional $50 fee.
PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
Shipping firearms to non-FFL holders is illegal. Firearms bought online can be picked up at our store or shipped to a nearby FFL. We may verify the FFL you select before shipping. Contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.
SHIPPING POLICY
Orders with large and/or oversized items may incur a "Bulk Shipping Fee" at processing. Particularly, orders exceeding 10 lbs, or requiring freight shipping due to weight (e.g., orders over 300 lbs) or dimensions, fall under this category. Such orders will be delivered via commercial carrier to the curbside, with unloading being the customer's responsibility, which may include offloading from the truck's rear in some cases.
For orders headed to Alaska and Hawaii, additional shipping fees are inevitable due to the involved complex shipping logistics. The fees can vary significantly based on the item. We will reach out with any extra charges for your approval. Please note, we do not ship ammunition, primers, powders, or any hazmat items to Alaska and Hawaii under any circumstances.
If other destinations incur additional shipping charges, we will contact you for approval. You can request a shipping quote from our staff before placing an order to prevent unexpected costs. If the extra fees are unsatisfactory, you can cancel the order without any penalty, provided it hasn't been processed and/or shipped yet.
Ensure the correct shipping address is provided on your GunBroker/website account. In case of an address error, a "Return to Sender Delivery Intercept" can be arranged for a fee, usually between $15 to $20, depending on the carrier. Successful intercepts will incur a fee per tracking number, plus any transportation charges, which are the customer's responsibility.
For orders with different billing and shipping addresses, we can proceed only if they clear NoFraud.com's verification. Primarily, we'll ship to the verified "AVS" response address associated with your credit card. Orders over $100 with separate billing and shipping addresses will undergo verification through NoFraud.com, which may require customer response for verification process completion.
CLASS III/NFA items have distinct shipping timelines, dependent on ATF FORM 3 approval. Shipping for these items will begin within 24-hours of receiving FORM 3 approvals.
RETURNS, WARRANTIES, AND REPAIRS
RETURN POLICY
All returns must adhere to TheGunDock’s Return Conditions. Items should be returned in NEW condition (unused, unbroken, unworn), with the original manufacturer's packaging and all included contents. Returns are accepted within 10 days from receipt; no returns will be accepted thereafter. For issues arising post-10 days, please contact the manufacturer for possible repair or replacement under warranty. All items sold are new and covered by the manufacturer's warranty; we do not offer used, returned, or refurbished products.
Optics and Electronics:
Non-returnable and non-refundable unless the wrong item is sent.
All items are new and come with a manufacturer's warranty.
For issues with optics or electronics, please contact the manufacturer directly.
Firearms:
We advise that you check with your dealer to find out about all applicaable fees before selecting them. Some dealers will hold guns "hostage" even on returns unless fees are paid. We will not cover fees on returns for any reason. In some cases we have had to use the ATF to recover firearms in similar cases.
CLASS III Items:
Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis due to potentially lengthy return times.

Returns without authorization will not be accepted.
Buyer is responsible for item cost if it's not in resalable condition upon return, as determined by TheGunDock.
Avoid writing on merchandise or its packaging.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error is on our part.
Restocking fees may apply; maximum fee is 20% or $20.00 minimum.
ORDER CANCELLATION
TheGunDock is dedicated to providing exemplary customer service to all of our customers. We pride ourselves on our ability to quickly and accurately process all orders. If you have any questions regarding your purchase, we will do everything we can to address your concerns. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. As a vast majority of in-stock items ship within 24 hours, it is imperative that you contact us so we may attempt to cancel your order before it is processed and/or shipped. Our shipping systems are automated so orders are not always able to be cancelled, however you may return items by promptly contacting us and requesting an RMA as stated above.
AMMUNITION PURCHASES
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required and sales on these items are final. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. Customers are responsible and must follow all local, state and federal laws. Please research before ordering if you are unsure about your local laws. We do not ship ammo to AK, or HI.
ORDER CANCELLATION FEES
There are no order cancellation fees if the order has not shipped.
WILL THEGUNDOCK PRICE MATCH?
TheGunDock understands that price is a key criterion when determining where to buy from, unfortunately we do not offer price matching at this time.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER HAS ALREADY SHIPPED?
Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order once it has been processed and/or shipped. If your order cannot be canceled prior to shipping, a Return to Sender Delivery Intercept can be instituted for a fee depending on the carrier handling the delivery ($17.90 Fee). All successful intercepts are subject to a fee per tracking number (plus any transportation charges).
Alternatively, items may be returned within 10 days per the terms of our Return Policy. Please note that customers are responsible for all charges associated with the return of goods back to TheGunDock. Note: Please allow up to 5 business days for your return to process from receipt of the returned merchandise.
WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELLED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?
TheGunDock reserves the right to cancel your order for any reason. If your order is canceled, you will receive a notification via email or phone with alternative options provided, if possible. Please note that some of the reasons your order may be canceled are:
- The ordered item cannot be shipped to you due to U.S. Government Regulations, Export Control Policy or our Domestic Product Policy.
- Additional information needed to process the order was not provided in a timely manner.
- The item has been discontinued or is no longer available.
- Due to our Pricing Policy.
