Developed in 2007, the .327 Federal Magnum cartridge aims to pack the stopping power of a .357 Magnum into a smaller cartridge, therefore allowing more rounds to fit into the cylinder of a revolver. The Taurus 327 makes use of this innovative cartridge and is therefore able to fit 6 rounds of .327 Fed Mag into a cylinder that's the same size as a comparable 5 round .357 Magnum cylinder! This compact double action/single action revolver is small and light enough to comfortably carry all day, every day. The frame, cylinder, and barrel are all made of stainless steel and feature a matte stainless finish. A soft rubber grip absorbs lots of the recoil upon firing, adding even more to the shootability of the Taurus 327. A removable serrated blade front sight and snag-free rear channel allow you to quickly get on target without having to worry about snagging on your clothing when the 327 comes out of a holster.
