Stag Arms has a long history of creating high-quality AR-15s and AR-308s, and now in 2023 they are introducing their first bolt action rifle. The Stag Arms Pursuit Bolt Action Rifle is a highly modular design that is built on a Remington 700 pattern short action receiver. The 416 stainless steel barrel features spiral fluting for weight reduction and a black Cerakote finish to protect the metal and resist corrosion and wear. The 3-lug bolt head is interchangeable and the bolt's 60-degree lift ensures faster cycling without worrying about scope clearance. One of the most modular features of the Pursuit is its three-piece chassis. This chassis consists of a glass-filled polymer stock, lightweight magnesium alloy receiver and aluminum forend. The stock utilizes an AR-10 style takedown pin so you can disassemble the rifle for storage or swap the buttstock out. It also features a near vertical pistol grip with texturing and the stock is adjustable for length of pull and cheek height. On the forend are three ways for mounting accessories like bipods. You get M-LOK slots and a half ARCA Swiss plate on the bottom of the forend, and a Picatinny spigot extending from the front of the forend. For even higher degrees of accuracy, Stag Arms fitted the Pursuit with a Trigger Tech Primary single-stage trigger which has a flat face and is user adjustable for pull weight from 1.5 lbs to 4.0 lbs. The Stag Arms is a modern marvel of bolt action rifle design.
